ARTHUR (1981)

This week, The Unenthusiastic Critic is caught somewhere between the moon and New York City, as we sit down for Nakea's first viewing of Steve Gordon's dipsomaniacal comedy Arthur (1981), starring Dudley Moore, Liza Minnelli, and Sir John Gielgud.

As we discuss, comedy has been a challenge for us here at The Unenthusiastic Critic, as Nakea is not always amused by films Michael thought were funny when he was 12 years old. But surely a drunk-driving, prostitute-frequenting manchild with three quarters of a billion dollars couldn't possibly fail to make her laugh?
