But yes, up until then, they'd been telegraphing Pete's demise. Now I wonder just what is going to happen with that rifle in Pete's office, since I doubt they'll play the suicide card again. Maybe the series will end with Pete going postal…?

I was sitting alone in my living room yelling at the screen and wiping away tears. I'll admit that I didn't see Lane's suicide coming (my money was on the greasy little pimp), and I'm devestated to see one of my favorite characters go. I guess I'll always have the memory of the T-Bone belt buckle.
