I've just read your reviews on TW: MD and enjoyed them. (You were more forgiving in earlier episodes than I was!)

I did want to mention, though, that if I understood correctly, Davies already had the script for the political part of COE written, and dusted it off and shoved the remaining Torchwood team into it and filmed that as TW: COE. That may be why it felt better-written in parts. (I also felt that COE was meant to be a complete end to TW. My impression at the end of COE was that Davies had taken his toys and broken them so no one else could play with them so that he could go to America and do new and different projects.)

Re continuing TW after MD, well, he's said he has one more story he could tell, a Gwen-centric one. All I can say is "Oh, god. Please don't inflict anything like MD on us *ever* *again*. " (And Gwen's never been a character I've liked, but that's totally separate from my feelings about the debacle of MD.) I think Davies comes up with some really interesting ideas, and that he can write an excellent scene, but I'm not impressed with his ability (or lack thereof?) to string those scenes into a coherent, congruent work of art.

Hi!

I have to say I really enjoyed your review. I recently started my own media reviewing sight as well and have also been reviewing Torchwood: Miracle Day. It's always great when someone else's opinions sync up with your own. I was sick of IGN ignoring all the glaring problems to just give a thumbs up to the action.

Keep up the good work,
Will
